**The duties and responsibilities of the **CBO Network Programme Manager **will include, but are not limited to**:

- Develop and implement the NACOSA CBO Network strategy by defining and building the NACOSA Network of Community Based Organisations.
- Conceptualize networking and the NACOSA CBO Network that will deliver on NACOSA’s strategic pillar to reconnect with its constituency. NACOSA’s CBO Network currently host 600 active members and includes NACOSA implementation partners.
- Develop/approve a consolidated Programme Implementation Plan in alignment with the NACOSA strategic plan and funder grant agreements, that contain detailed plans of direct reports/ teams, and implementing partners.
- Design and implement a strategy to build and establish NACOSA’s approach to networking with its funded CBOs, with a focus on strengthening Community health systems, health related service delivery, advocacy (raising the voices of smaller organisations), consolidating the voice of its network members.
- Motivate employees and drive a healthy, values based, engaged culture to drive achievement of programme performance standards and targets in conjunction with HR, implement and support various people processes such as recruitment, orientation, disciplinary processes, time, and attendance.
- Develop the CBO Network Programme budget and report on programme expenditure against programmatic activities.
- Monitor and report on programme expenditure against programmatic activities.
- Support to ensure Monitoring and Evaluation information and reports for all programmatic activity is complete and accurate.

**Required qualifications, skills, and experience.**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science/Public Health is highly valued although experience and prior learning will also be considered. (Postgraduate qualification is advantageous).
- A minimum of 5 year's related work experience in leading programme implementation teams or implementing partners in a target driven healthcare programme (specific experience required in implementation planning, technical guidance, logístical support functions and monitoring, and evaluation)
- Prior demonstrated experience of building and managing networks of CBOs.
- Knowledge about: HIV prevention, sexual and reproductive health; Gender Based Violence (GBV), HIV Testing Services; evidence-informed and rights-based programming; the relevant national policies and guidelines pertaining to Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) and GBV services
- Knowledge of Government policy, strategy and institutional arrangements in the provision of HIV and AIDS services and programmes.
- Excellent computer skills, specifically in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills on all levels
- Read, write, and speak in two official South African languages, of which one must be English.
- Valid South African Driver’s license

- Excellent presentation, sales (ability to influence) and negotiation skills
- The ability to work across multiple projects, with the excellent planning, prioritisation, and time management skills that this will require.
- Excellent networks, networking and relationship building.
- Definite inclination to keep abreast of technical developments in the HIV, AIDS, and TB fields.
- Willingness to travel within South Africa.
