Mid-Weight Marketing Strategist - Johannesburg

A Mid-Weight Marketing Strategist position is available in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.

As the Marketing Strategist, coming up with innovative ideas is an essential part of the planning and overall strategy process.

New concepts that are developed, will shift into marketing campaigns; will need to meet budget requirements and overall business goals.

**Must-Have Requirements - Mid-Weight Marketing Strategist**:

- At least 5 years of experience in a Marketing or Advertising agency
- Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
- Must currently work in a strategic role (Brand Strategist, Strategy Manager, Content Marketing Strategist, etc)
- Branding or Marketing qualification

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Developing brand architecture, positioning and strategy.
- Proactively identify, develop, and drive longer-term strategies and initiatives that will deliver sustained growth.
- Ensure brand consistency through all marketing channels.
- Perform in-depth research to identify new market opportunities and establish market trends.
- Track and measure marketing outcomes including marketing tactics, new leads, sales activities, and ROI.
- Address advertising needs.
- Briefing and collaborating with creative teams.
