Sales Associate

**Location**: Telkom Express Pop-Up Store - Malvern

**Report to**: Store Supervisor

**CORE PURPOSE**

This is a highly sales oriented position, your primary function in this position will be to make sales, however there is added elements of customer service, client retention as well as promotional work.

Agent will provide advice to customers and share product knowledge, to ensure that our products best meet their needs - ensuring that the satisfaction of the customer is the focus at all times.

Agent to provide assistance or support to customers whenever needed.

Agent to ensure that all targets are met.

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- 1- Consumer service and satisfaction
- 2- Implement and follow the company’s policies and procedures at the store level
- 3- Manage and account for all cash, equipment and assets at the store
- 4- Must be able to perform system transactions such as; RICA, SimSwap, Porting, Airtime and Data sales
- 5- Promote the Company values to customers and colleagues
- 6- Take responsibility for personal development (As an employee you will be required to learn and partake in all daily, weekly and monthly task/duties of your line manager which will allow you to be up-skilled and ready for future available future growth

**QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE /KNOWLEDGE**

Qualifications: Grade 12 (preferred)

Sales ability: Sales orientated, persuasive to customers and passionate about the sales environment

Computer skills: Microsoft suite, (Office, Excel, Outlook)

Skills: Excellent verbal, communication, writing, and numeracy skills.

Experience: Previous promotion experience / External sales / outbound sales / Retail
