Admitted Attorney with a strong academic record
- Minimum of 4 - 5 years’ post qualification experience in corporate commercial and contract law
- Working experience in a corporate law firm
- Thorough knowledge of the law
- Exceptional drafting skills
- Experience in commercial transactions
- A passion for corporate and contract law
- A passion for drafting
- Tax law experience is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

Duties and responsibilities:

- Drafting template agreements and other templatised documents
- Drafting opinions
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge management database (i.e. the firms repository for the storage of templates, precedents and know-how across the firm)
- Keeping abreast of and analysing changes to applicable legislation and current market developments and communicating developments in law
- Recognising changes that need to be made to master templates and documents
- Working closely with the knowledge management team as well as other practitioners in the firm
- Devise and deliver appropriate internal training across all offices on the use of the KM system and templates
- Development of essential knowledge resources which will improve the efficiency of the practitioners

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: R40,000.00 - R50,000.00 per month
