**Job Overview**:
A security officer is a person employed to protect property, assets, and individuals from various risks such as theft, vandalism, or other security threats.

**Requirements**:

- Matric is essential.
- Must have a valid and up-to-date PSIRA registration
- CCTV qualification.
- 2 + years experience as a security guard with access control to warehouse experience
- 2+ years of experience as a CCTV operator.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Must be reliable, trustworthy, and responsible
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Monitor CCTV cameras and other security technology to monitor the area.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and incidents
- Report any suspicious behaviour or activities to the appropriate authorities breaches of security in detailed reports.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors
- Enforcement of Policies: Ensuring that building policies and local laws are followed (e.g., no smoking, no trespassing).
- Patrolling: Conducting regular foot in a warehouse to ensure that the warehouse are secure.
- Monitoring Security Systems: Using CCTV cameras,
- Access Control: Checking identification and ensuring only authorized personnel or visitors are allowed access to certain areas in a warehouse
