Our client, a reputable provider of steel cutting and metal bending services, is seeking an experienced **Shift Supervisor** to oversee their team and production activities. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of quality and safety expected in their operations, which cater to a variety of industrial needs with advanced steel processing technology.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate and manage shift activities, ensuring smooth operations in steel cutting and bending.
- Uphold safety protocols and quality standards in all production activities.
- Train, support, and supervise shift personnel, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
- Monitor workflow to meet production schedules and swiftly address operational challenges.
**Requirements**:
- Demonstrated experience in the Iron and Steel industry, with knowledge of cutting and bending processes.
- Proven leadership skills to manage and motivate a team in a shift-based setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Relevant tertiary education/Trade would be advantageous.
