Role

Manage tactical and operational service procurement activities in the region, continuously improve resource efficiency and ensure implementation of Global Procurement strategies and best practice way of working.

**Responsibilities**:
- Reports solid line to the Global Head of Service Procurement- Manages and develops the regional Service Procurement management team in Purchasing, Expediting, Quality Control, and Logistics- Ensures execution of Service Procurement activities to comply with business requirements for cost, time, quality and risk minimization- Acts as first point of contact within the Procurement function for regional management and cross-functions- Coordinates directly with other regional Procurement HoDs to ensure efficient and timely solutions- Drives efficiency through resource optimization, offshoring and implementation of best practices within regional Service Procurement- Leads the implementation of and compliance to procurement policies, processes and reporting of KPI’s in alignment with Group directives- Builds strategic procurement and sourcing competencies in the region to engage in global initiatives as well as running local activities in alignment with Group Procurement- Ensures savings effectiveness through compliance to implemented global category initiatives- Develops capabilities within the regional Service Procurement team and ensures efficient setups- Where relevant, oversees procurement organizations in assigned countries outside home country.

Education Qualification

Bachelor's degree, master's degree preferred from a reputed University.

Experience

10 years of progressive experience including leadership experience within Procurement
