Marketing Manager Johannesburg North

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our products and services, aligned with the company's goals and target audience.
Manage and lead a team of marketing professionals, fostering their growth and ensuring their productivity.
Collaborate with franchisees to create and deliver marketing campaigns that align with their specific needs and objectives.
Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, including newspapers, magazines, TV, radio, and social media platforms.
Stay updated on industry trends (optical), competition, and customer insights to continuously improve marketing initiatives.
Oversee the selection and management of outsourced suppliers, ensuring they deliver quality services in a large and complex environment.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation governing the company's products and services.
Demonstrate creativity and marketing flair in developing innovative marketing solutions.
Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Set and prioritize objectives, manage deadlines, and efficiently handle a high workload.
Exhibit strong numeracy skills for forecasting, reporting, and budgeting purposes.
Display proficiency in web development, as well as print and editing skills.
Lead and develop the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Work effectively within a team-based environment and actively contribute to the team's success.
Demonstrate a high level of motivation and willingness to take responsibility.
Handle work pressure, meet strict deadlines, and be available for overtime, weekend work, and evening commitments as required.
**1. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Required Qualifications**:
Matric (Grade 12)
An applicable tertiary qualification in Marketing or allied field.
**2. REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE**:
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Marketing Manager.
- Proven experience in being responsible for the overall marketing strategy of a company.
- Extensive experience of people management.
- Experience of managing and delivering marketing campaigns to the company’s franchisees.
- Experience of dealing with the media (newspapers, magazines, TV, radio, social media etc.).
