**Requirements**:

- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 - 5 years’ relevant experience of SCADA Remote

Terminal Units (RTUs) including the configuration,
testing and commissioning of RTU’s.
- Valid code B or EB driver’s licence
- Computer Literacy (MS Office)

Key Performance Areas
- Maintaining the existing electrical distribution system

RTU’s (Telemetry) and communication infrastructure (i.e.
Fibre, Radio, etc.).
- Undertaking the installation and construction of substation

automation equipment such as ABB, SEL and Siemens RTUs.
- Commissioning and Testing of Substation RTUs data to the

Central SCADA Systems at Network Control Centre.
- Ensure that load control systems are maintained and

repaired within laid down standards and procedures.
- Ensure legal compliance and the safety of staff and equipment.
- Performing administrative, housekeeping and planning duties.
