Grout Plant Fitter

**GROUT PLANT FITTER (Grading C2)**

**_ Job specification_**
- ** Grade 11 or equivalent qualification**:

- ** Recognised Trade Certificate as a Fitter and Turner (Section 13 or Section 26D).**:

- ** Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an underground mining operation.**:

- ** Experience and knowledge working in a grout plant is essential**:

- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proactive and safety-conscious attitude.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Must be willing to work shifts and overtime as required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and car.
- South African Citizenship
- Clear Criminal Record
- Declared medically fit by our OMP

**_Responsibilities_**
- Conduct preventative and breakdown maintenance on pumps, valves, mixers, compressors, and piping systems.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical faults and failures on plant equipment.
- Maintain equipment logs and complete job cards accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.
- Participate in plant shutdowns and overhauls as required.
- Collaborate with plant operators and engineers to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform all Health and Safety-related duties in general on the Mine as per Gold One Group Limited standards
