**Responsibilities**: - Receiving and loading of all raw materials on arrival of trucks, including the checking of accompanying documents - Maintain good house-keeping according to Food Safety Standards, e.g. stacking pallets - Stacking of pallets according to site specifications (e.g. high; pallets = 10high) - Issuing of materials to production which includes the transferring of the documentation - Compliance with company policy - Taking daily or shift readings of various materials quantities (eg grit and oil) - Participate in cycle counts - Stock rotation according to the FIFO system - Stocktaking in the assigned areas - Daily monitoring and recording of temperature controls - Regular forklift and truck inspection, including filling in the daily check sheet, to maintain high safety standards - Preparation of interplant transfers with relevant documentation - Monthly rack inspections - Perform AIB daily inspection - Ensure own safety and that of peers Qualifications: - Minimum Grade 12 - Tertiary qualification in Inventory Management or related advantageous - 2 years in an FMCG or Warehouse Environment - Literacy and numeracy skills essential - Good communication skills - Valid forklift driver licence via accredited service provider - Basic knowledge of Safety Regulations - Computer literacy - Windows, Microsoft excel would be an added advantage - Results driven - Ability to work under pressure - Teamwork - Communication Skills - Integrity - Able to work shifts - Ability to work under pressure - Good timekeeping and attendance **“PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act"
