**Commercial Director** required for a reputable company based in **East London**

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualification in Finance / Business Management or related field
- FMCG Industry experience is essential both within retail and factory environment
- Must have 5 to 10 years’ experience in a senior management role
- Understanding of Supply Chain / Imports / Exports
- Understanding of HACCP and relevant certification
- Must have excellent financial and business acumen
- Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset
- Experience working with target metrics
- Strong attention to detail, time management, leadership and organizational skills
- Understanding of food manufacturing or production management processes would be advantageous

**Responsibilities include**:

- Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to maximize revenue, profitability, market share and sustainable growth opportunities
- Create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities, including expansion, business development, and market research analysis
- Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics
- Set financial targets and budget development and monitoring
- Performance reporting and financial and budgeting processes
- Analyse trends and market conditions, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
- Provide strategic advice to upper management
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, identifying new business opportunities, and overseeing the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives
- Coordinate commercial activities between various departments, including sales, marketing and customer service
