**Job Purpose**:
The Department of Agriculture, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to lead, coordinate, facilitate and manage all learnership programmes and modular skills programmes to internal and external stakeholders, inclusive of commercial and emerging farmer groups and agicultural workers in accordance with quality standards/norms as prescribed by riSETA/QCTO and DPSA learnership policy framework. This post is stationed in Elsenburg,

**Minimum Requirements**:
An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher) in Agriculture or related field ; A minimum of 3 years appropriate experience in the education and training environment. A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence.

**Key Performance Areas**:
Coordination of Learnership Programmes(s) and liason with industry role-players and stakeholders' Administrative responsibility; Compilation of learnership programme modules for delivery; Assessment, Evaluation, Moderation of learnership programme; Provide research inputs.

**Competencies**:
Knowledge of the following: Learnership legislative prescripts and framework; Financial Managementand budget control; Assessment, evaluation methods and procedures; SAQA/NQF framework; Curriculum structure and framework compilation; SETA and QCTO processes; Human resource management and development practices; Relevant education, training and development strategies influencing the agricultural industry; Social and life skills orientation Programmes; Student information systems and learner management systems; POPI Act. Skills needed: Communication (written and Verbal); Proven computer literacy in MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc); Planning and organising; Assessment and moderation, Presentation, facilitation, coaching and mentoring; Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Remuneration**:
R 321 543 per annum (Salary Level 8')
