We are looking for an ambitious, results-driven Board & Timber and Joinery SalesRepresentative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling timber,board products, joinery, and related hardware. You will build strong customer relationships,provide expert product advice, and drive sales within the timber and joinery industry. Key Responsibilities**:Identify and Engage Customers: Proactively engage with potential customers,including contractors, carpenters, manufacturers, and joinery businesses, to generatesales opportunities.** Product Recommendations: Offer expert, tailored product recommendations basedon customer needs, ensuring optimal product selection for their projects. **Sales Order Management: Efficiently process sales orders, quotations, and invoiceswith a keen attention to detail.** Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets(minimum of 500k per month). **Maintain Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on timber, board cutting, edging, andjoinery products to provide in-depth product advice.** Coordinate Deliveries: Collaborate with the production and dispatch teams to ensuretimely and accurate deliveries. **Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provideexceptional after-sales service.** Market Insights: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs toadjust sales strategies and stay competitive.
Requirements**:Experience: Proven experience in timber, board, joinery, or hardware sales ispreferred.** Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with theability to negotiate and influence decisions. **Sales Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment.** Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of board cutting, edging processes, andjoinery is advantageous but not required. **Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer systems for order processing andmanaging customer records.** Client Database: Must have an active client database within the market.
Targets & Remuneration:
- Sales Target: A minimum sales target of 500k per month. Basic Salary: R20,000 per month. Additional Benefits:o Company vehicle for work-related travel.o Laptop and cellphone for business use.
