Commercial Finance Analyst

You will perform detailed finance work, transactions and data structuring under the guidance of the Finance Manager. You will collect data, be responsible for maintaining information integrity, monitor reconciliations and conduct basic checks and controls.

You will:

- Execute aspects of finance planning and performance management process and related financial decisions potentially including Annual Contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modeling and decision support for a focused scope within a region, business unit, country, Supply Chain, Mondelēz International Business Services or Corporate Finance team. You will also execute data collection and data integrity checks
- Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment in area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies
- Execute ad hoc analyses and projects as requested by the Senior Finance Manager (or Director)
- Support projects to improve efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement
- Contribute to a high-performing Finance team. You will also invest in personal development and the development of your Finance peers

**What you need to know about this position**:
You will work under the guidance of the Finance Manager or Senior Analyst to maintain finance transactions, data, systems and reporting. You will also collect data and perform detailed checks/controls.

**What extra ingredients you will bring**:

- Excellent working knowledge of Excel (creating Pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, etc. is a must)
- Experience in working with data & reports
- Knowledge of working in export markets will be beneficial
- Understanding of systems landscape and interdependencies
- Familiarity with creating and maintaining process documentation
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent planning capabilities
- SAP FI and BI report writing experience an advantage
- FMCG experience would be beneficial
- Willingness to constantly learn and find better, quicker ways to work

**Education / Certifications**:
Relevant Tertiary Degree or Diploma - Accounting or Finance related. BCom preferred

**Job specific requirements**:

- Execute aspects of finance planning and performance management process and related financial decisions potentially including Annual Contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modelling and decision support for a focused scope within a region, business unit, country, Supply Chain, Mondelēz International Business Services or Corporate Finance team. You will also execute data collection and prepare data integrity checks
- Manage customer claims related to Trade spend and ensure adherence to internal policies
- Support the Finance/Category Finance Manager in managing pricing related to Busines unit. This includes overall management of customer price models/value chains and maintenance of this pricing on internal systems
- Support the Finance/Category Finance Manager in month end processes related to Business unit. These include and are not limited to reconciliations, journal postings, variance analysis and preparation of relevant month end files used for decision making
- Work closely with Project Co-ordinator Managers and Leads to manage financial inputs in innovation cycles and maintain finance innovation trackers
- Perform customer analysis to ensure business maintains profitability
