Description

We have a position available for a Showroom Consultant, based at our upmarket showroom in Bloemfontein.

Main purpose of the job

Promote and sells Hertex merchandise, sample books and partnership programmes to customers and maintains the image and oversees the effective operations of the showroom to meet sales targets.

Minimum requirements

National Senior Certificate, Certificate or Diploma in Interior Decorating or related field (advantageous), minimum of 3 years sales experience in an Interior Decorating environment preferred, experience of coordinating the operational aspects of a shop or outlet is an advantage, and own reliable transport.

Skills and knowledge required: Good telephone etiquette, excellent communication skills (written and spoken), good presentation skills, good with building and maintaining customer relationships, excellent customer service and after sales service, good with selling products and concepts, and professional with good business etiquette.

Main duties

Maintain showroom operations by maintaining the set showroom standards, coordinating deliveries, managing stock of cuttings, sample hangers and books, build productive relationships with customers by advising and selling to customers in the showroom, and support field sales by supporting the internal sales consultants.
