**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- **Analyse portable water and wastewater chemical determinants.
- Conduct root cause analysis on non-conformances raised in the chemistry and instrumentation laboratory.
- Ensure compliance with internal management system as per the quality manual and ISO 17075:2015.
- Report out of specification results for the region, R&D and laboratory management.
- Participate in the PTS scheme as per management system requirements.
- Supervise all analytical work in the chemistry laboratory.
- Compile standard operating procedures (SOPS).
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety standards, Acts and Regulations.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:

- B-Tech Analytical Chemistry / BSc Chemistry.
- Minimum of 2 years’ practical experience in an accredited laboratory.
- Minimum of 1-year technician experience in Chemistry at supervisory level.
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025: 2017.
- Supervisory skills and report writing skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Valid driver’s license.
