A well-known Retailer in Somerset West is seeking an Inventory Clerk / Administrator with at least three years’ experience to join their dynamic team

administrator|inventory clerk|stock controller

**Duties will include but not limited to**:

- Receive and process **purchase requisitions**:

- **Source quotes from suppliers/service provider**:

- Processing **Purchase Orders**:

- **Placing of orders** systematically and when stock reaches re-order levels
- Ensure **incoming goods are received, managed, and stored** appropriately
- Identifying and inspecting quantities of products received according to the PO or Delivery Note and **reconciling Delivery Notes with Purchase Order**:

- Reporting and managing **stock holding levels**:

- Implement and oversee **stock control procedures**:

- Responsible for relevant **day-to-day administration**:

- Store **organisation and daily housekeeping**:

- **Daily warehouse transfer**:

- Create and maintain inventory records for fabric and accessories; purchases, goods receiving, movements

**Requirements**:

- 2 to 3 years Storeman and Stock Control experience in similar environment
- Matric (Grade 12 minimum )
- N4/5/5/6 stock, inventory or warehousing diploma (advantageous)
- Computer literate - Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Knowledge of ERP/Stock control system an advantage (Pastel, IQ Retail)
- Planning, organisational and time management ability
- Good communication skills - verbal and written
- able to work effectively in a team
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Telephone etiquette
- Efficient and accurate data entry
- Able to work under pressure in a warehouse environment
- Physically fit and able

Office Hours: Monday - Friday - 08h00 - 17h00

Saturday - Every second from 08h00 - 14h00
