**The Marketing Leader - Crop Protection, is responsible for leading the marketing strategy for the crop protection portfolio in Southern Africa, to manage the Marketing Team, to ensure the sales team delivers on their financial targets by working closely with the Country Sales Leader and the Area Sales Managers. The Marketing Leader will establish network collaboration with the sales and marketing support organization (Sales team, Field Services team, Regulatory team, Supply Chain team and Customer Services). The Marketing Leader will lead Program Management and Regional Growth Initiative funding mechanisms for portfolio expansion.

The Marketing Leader reports to the Country Lead: Crop Protection.

**Your Challenge**:

- Lead the Marketing Team
- Lead preparation of the annual Profit Objective Plan and 5-year horizon of the assigned portfolio with clear assumptions.
- Delivery of financial results, budget reporting, margin maximization
- Lead the marketing strategy for an assigned portfolio
- Launch new technology
- Overall effective functioning of the Local Product Concept Teams
- Identifies portfolio opportunities that can maximize long term profitability
- Conducts market research
- Captures competitive intelligence
- Manages inventory and reduces expired materials.

**Qualifications**:
**To Grow What Matters, You Will Need**
- Bachelors degree in Ag-business, Agronomy, Business, Marketing or related area or equivalent sales management experience
- 5 - 8 Years in Sales and Marketing in the agricultural industry, preferably in the Crop Protection industry
- 5 Years proven leadership experience
