**Purpose of the Job**:
The purpose of the Senior Organisational Effectiveness (OE) Specialist is to develop and implement Organisational Effectiveness programmes across the Shoprite Group. This role assists various internal teams within the Shoprite Group to achieve their business objectives through organisational effectiveness models. This role leverages in-depth knowledge and experience of effective organisational development and organisational design consulting, including project and change management processes to guide internal business teams in improving effectiveness and efficiencies at individual, team, and organisational levels.

**Job Objectives**:

- Support and implement Organisational Effectiveness strategy in alignment with business direction, goals, and priorities.
- Support the development of Organisational Effectiveness Framework
- Execute on Organisational effectiveness programmes and projects including the development of frameworks, policies, and guidelines.
- Diagnose and analyse organisational problems to uncover core issues, recommend and execute resolutions within existing frameworks and guidelines.
- Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of identified organisational effectiveness interventions, processes and related systems / initiatives.
- Assist in the development of the Workforce Planning framework and methodology.
- Assist with the development of divisional/departmental structures in the pursuit of the respective business plans.
- Coordinate relevant changes as relating to organisational effectiveness interventions.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships and business partnerships with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide input to Organisational Design, Job Family and Workforce Planning strategies, including the execution of strategies and programs thereof.
- Research best practice surrounding Organisational Effectiveness, including both Organisational
- Development and Organisational Design components.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in Organisational Psychology or equivalent qualification - (Highly Beneficial)

**Experience**:

- 4+ years’ experience in a Senior Organisational Effectiveness role or similar, with solid knowledge and experience delivering diverse end-to-end organisational effectiveness solutions, including change management and ongoing support - (essential).
- Solid management consulting experience (4- 5 years) and demonstrable knowledge of effective organisational development and organisational design consulting processes - (essential)
- Experience designing and conducting surveys and/or multi-Rater assessments - (essential)
- Experience working in agile environments - (desirable).

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Demonstrable knowledge of business, organisational theory and practice, strategic and tactical organisational design and change management - (essential)
- Solid knowledge of designing, implementing, and maintaining organisation development and organisational design solutions: - (essential).
- Human process interventions (i.e., interpersonal, group, and business processes)
- Technostructural interventions (i.e., organisational restructure, employee engagement, work design, culture, etc.)
- Strategic change interventions (e.g., organisational transformation).
