Are you someone who can:

- Define and design information management specialisation strategy to support the FirstRand Data strategy, Information Governance strategy and relevant business strategy.
- Define metrics and roadmap to track maturity and risk across the information management landscape.
- Understand internal information management landscape, challenges and maturity level to:

- Identify information management requirements.
- Define and implement information management standards and processes.
- Contribute to the development of the overall information architecture.
- Contribute to the development of the information management disciplines reference architecture in consultation with the Information Architect.
- Understand client information management landscape, challenges and maturity level to:

- Define and implement approach for specialised information management creation and integration.
- Establish information management disciplines based on organisational and business unit requirements.
- Embed information management into business processes and operations.
- Optimise information management processes and ensure implementation thereof.
- Design and setup the specialised information management reporting and analysis capability.
- Contribute to Information management policies and governance and provide guidance to relevant stakeholders to assist with implementation of policies.
- Create training materials and tools and provide required training and awareness on information management disciplines and capabilities to relevant stakeholders.
- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation.
- Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own and employee development.

Additional Requirements:

- Multi-country coordination - supporting information management maturity across Broader Africa and aligning countries with Group standards and bA centre processes.
- Records management uplift - driving optimisation of country records programmes, including annual requirements, retention schedules and compliance tracking.
- Data quality issue resolution - identifying, monitoring and coordinating the remediation of data quality gaps affecting both country operations and bA centre processes.
- Policy mobilisation - socialising information management, governance, and privacy policies across countries and ensuring practical adoption.
- Support for analytics and model development - assisting data and model teams to resolve data related issues that hinder development or deployment.
- Data landscape visibility - maintaining an up-to-date view of data sources, flows and storage across platforms and country data stores.
- Training and capability uplift - facilitating IM training for data stewards, information owners and country teams, strengthening governance capability across markets.
- Community engagement - fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing between bA centre, Group IM, and country teams to embed a consistent IM culture.

- Bachelor of Social Science in Computer and Information Science
- 6 - 8 years’ experience
