**Responsibilities**:
Administration
- Provide administrative and practical assistance to the marketing manager for campaigns, events, activities, and other administration relevant to the daily operations of the marketing team
- Maintain work process flows by coordinating information and requests within the marketing team and information flowing from other departments
- Maintain a proper filing system for the marketing department both physically and virtually
- Coordinate inventory of marketing collateral, including the distribution when required
- Coordinate production requests from brief to delivery
- Coordinate administration of advertising bookings, trade shows, and agency services (ensuring contracts are populated correctly, doing Purchase Orders, filing all documentation on server)
- Assisting the marketing manager with maintaining the website (specific to incoming new products, discontinued products, and product price changes
- Assisting the marketing manager with monthly newsletters (MailChimp).

Social Media
- Fully grasp the products and the technical knowledge of our brand to effectively position and communicate us and our offerings on social media platforms.
- Develop a monthly social media calendar that will distribute brand content that inspires our audiences.
- Schedule content to create a consistent flow of new content for audiences to interact with while constantly analysing what works and what doesn’t and alter the content calendar where necessary.
- Build relationships by listening and engaging in relevant social discussions about the brands, its competitors and industry.
- Tactfully capitalise on relevant news stories, trends or hashtags.
- Constantly monitor competitor brands’ social media activity and share with key internal stakeholders.
- Daily monitoring of social media platforms to ensure all comments/messages are responded to in a timely manner.
- Propose new ideas and concepts for social content to better connect with our audiences.
- Report on all social media metrics that highlights activity, results, and trends on our platforms, and continually look for new ways to improve on the metrics to guide future social content plans and campaigns.

**Requirements**:

- Industry relevant tertiary qualification
- 1-2 years’ work experience
- At least 1 years’ experience in a social media role
- Computer and technologically literate
- Understanding of and experience with WordPress
- Must be able to work confidently with Google Suite (especially Google Sheets)
- Strong working knowledge of social media and community management and scheduling tools/software
- Ability to take the lead and be resourceful in finding appropriate social content opportunities
- Skilled in writing clear, inspirational, original, and imaginative copy for social
- Strong time management skills and sincere respect for deadlines
- Keen interest in interior design and lifestyle brands essential
- Impeccable attention to detail and ability to produce error free work
- An A-Player that goes above and beyond what is required for the role, has a curious mind and willingness to learn new skills and take on bigger challenges
- Communicate effectively and accurately, both orally and in writing
- Be approachable, listen carefully, inform fully and be patient
- Great work ethic and professional demeanour
- Self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision on projects
- Able to manage workload without crumbling under pressure
- An all-round nice human - positive, thoughtful, kind, passionate and enthusiastic
- Able to work fully on-site.
