YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather data and prepare negotiations in terms of content and organizational aspects;
- Research suppliers and raw materials;
- Compare prices and assisting in the maintenance of price tools in consultation with the (lead) buyers;
- Send out contracts, check order confirmations and informing the lead buyer responsible of the changes, if necessary;
- Prepare, create, maintain and track contracts in SAP;
- Create and maintain supplier and material master data;
- Carry out efficient and effective sample management;
- Carry out administrative processing procedures for complaints, in consultation with the (lead) buyers;
- Responsible for procurement of raw material/packaging;
- Generate Purchase Orders, and follow up with suppliers to ensure on time delivery;
- To expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems;
- Coordination with Planning team for material planning & accurate projection;
- Coordination with accounts for Payments to Vendors;
- Fully leverage existing procurement strategies, contracts and relationships;
- Build strategic relationships with key suppliers;
