As an Internal Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and providing exceptional service to our customers. You will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing product information, all while working closely with our external sales team and other departments.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide detailed information about our steel products, pricing, and availability.
- Collaborate with the external sales team to support sales initiatives and follow-up on leads.
- Develop strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to enhance customer loyalty.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system.
- Assist in resolving customer issues and complaints, escalating as necessary.
- Stay informed about industry trends, product developments, and competitor activities.
- Participate in sales meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies.
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years of experience in internal sales or customer service, preferably in the steel or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of steel products, specifications, and industry standards is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
