**Job Title: Senior Planner**

**Reference: SP-OCT 2025**

**Responsibilities**
- To meet your objectives, you will lead the team in completing a detailed weekly analysis of the business performance where you must also react to opportunities.
- You would be responsible for controlling the budget for the business and must develop key relationships with stakeholders (internal and external) to execute the business strategy.
- Finally, as your season draws to a close you would then start to develop a strategy going forward based on what happened previously, what is happening currently in the business and to identify new opportunities that exist in the market for you to capitalize on.
- Review and streamline processes to ensure effective time management and team utilization.
- Ensure accountability through effective delegation with appropriate support and oversight dependent on levels of competence and experience in the team.
- Build business assortment in collaboration with buyers.
- Ensure buyers allocations are done timeously and correctly.
- Provide guidance for stock movements and assortment builds.
- Managing Bank reconciliations.
- Store operations management.

**Qualifications**
- A relevant tertiary qualification - BCOM Finance, Accounts, Supply Chain, Economics
- 4-7 years relevant Merchandise Planning / Retail Planning experience

**Knowledge/ Skills required**:

- Commercial acumen.
- Economic understanding of supply & demand.
- Clothing Retail market & industry knowledge.
- Numerical skills.
- Communication skills. (verbal & written)
- Negotiation skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Conflict management.
- Analytical skills.
- Applicants must have a valid driver's license (CODE 8).
- Applicants must be based in the KZN South Coast area.
- Applicants must be willing to travel within South Africa for this position.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R420 000,00 - R480 000,00 per year

**Education**:

- Bachelors (required)

**Experience**:

- Clothing Retail Planning: 5 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Code 8 drivers license (required)
