Setter/programmer (Lathe)

**Duties**:
Setting of CNC Lathe and milling machines.

Programming of machines where necessary.

Condition of all jigs forms part of your daily responsibility.

All machines problems must be reported to the Section head.

Always do a dry run and first off part to assure tolerance in accordance to drawing accuracy.

Handover to the operator when setup is done.

All running programs must be sent back to network when job is done including editing.

Inform section head of faulty programming.

Signing of drawings & operators log when finished.

Pre-planning according to schedule to ensure mínimal downtime.

All jobs processed must be done according to supplied schedule unless otherwise explained by the Section Head.

Assist with training of the operators to ensure they are on standard.

Identify problems and report to Section Head.

Manage and monitor all quality and quantity produced from your machines.

Constant monitoring of your machines to ensure maximum productivity.

- Rosslyn, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
