Join our dynamic team as a Technical Sales Representative

Are you an ambitious, results-oriented individual with a passion for sales? We're a leading supplier in the electrical, instrumentation, and pneumatic industry, seeking a motivated Sales Representative to drive business growth.

If you have direct sales experience in the mining industry, with a background in electrical and/or instrumentation, we want to hear from you. However, if you possess technical aptitude and a willingness to learn, coupled with experience in the mining sector, we encourage you to apply.

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle, from initial contact to delivery and payment collection. Extensive travel is required, with flexible hours based on customer demands. We value autonomy and proactive work ethic, so while you'll have the freedom to work independently, demonstrating initiative and resilience is key.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting direct sales to the mining industry
- Managing the complete sales cycle, including delivery and payment collection
- Demonstrating proactive and driven work ethic
- Maintaining open communication and trust within the team

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 (Standard 10) or N3
- Tertiary education in marketing or business management preferred
- 2-5 years of experience as a Technical Sales Representative (electrical or instrumentation)
- Technical proficiency (written test during interview process)
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with own reliable vehicle
- Excellent health and physical fitness
- Proven track record in sales

Compensation:
Salary range:
R20,000 - R30,000 per month for Senior Sales Representatives

R12,500 - R18,000 per month for Junior Sales Representatives

Additional earning potential through commission

Benefits include car allowance or company pool car, 50% medical aid (main member only), subsidized cell phone, and company-provided petrol
