**The Role**:
Reporting to the EMEA Financial Controller, this is an Ideal role for an engaging and motivational financial leader in our Financial Control team, with exceptional communication skills and a strong focus on operational finance. This individual will support and mainly run the full finance function of the Irdeto SA and will be required to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders as the main finance representative of the Irdeto SA business unit.

**Your mission at Irdeto**:

- Plan, lead and continuously improve month end closing and audit activities for the SA.
- Be visible and engaging interface for the SA business into the EMEA Region for matters related to accounting, control, and compliance.
- Ensure that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met regarding the company’s financial affairs in the region.
- Responsible for the timely reporting and filing of statutory accounts with the relevant bodies/ chambers of commerce in the countries.
- Proactively monitor, assess, report, and ensure effective controls over financial, control and business risks.
- With the Head of Global Tax, drive the tax compliance agenda of the SA business unit.
- Ensure the payroll and expense processes run accurately and timeously.
- Ensure the correct allocation of expenses are made, relevant accruals are identified and provided for and recorded in the correct period.

**How can you add value to the team?**
- Driven individual, who is proactive and has a good understanding of the finance end to end function. An individual that can work alone and within a team when required.
- 2+ years of work experience an accountant /controller level.
- University degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) - B. Comm with Honors (CTA preferred).
- Strong communication skills in English (written and oral);
- Strong IFRS knowledge is key.
- Good understanding of key business operation activities is desired (payments, billing, payroll, tax and general accrual accounting, cost management).
- An individual that can maintain and harness good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in auditing is a plus.
- As part of an international organization with a regional team, working hours require flexibility and limited travel may be required.
