Standerton Oil Mills -Fitter & Electrical Apprenticeship Programme
Are you passionate about engineering and eager to learn? We are offering an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to join our team as Fitter & Electrical Fitter Apprentices. This structured apprenticeship program will provide hands-on experience, technical training, and mentorship to help you build a solid foundation in mechanical and electrical fitting to become a successful Artisan. Standerton Oil Mills (Pty) Ltd is looking to recruit Local Lekwa Youth.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Assist qualified Fitters and Electrical Fitters in maintenance, installation, and repair of machinery and equipment.
Learn to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Participate in routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
Adhere to safety standards and company procedures.
Attend theoretical and practical training sessions as required.
**Minimum Requirements**:
Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science.
N2 Certificate or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (advantageous).
Pass internal competency tests
Proof of residential address
Preference will be given to applicants considered as South African Youth under the age of 35 years

Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
Attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
