A leading micro-payment processing service aggregator is looking for a talented, energetic, and competitive Team Leader that thrives in a high-volume sales environment, implementing, managing, and achieving regional sales targets.

Hands-on experience managing field staff is a pre-requisite.

Location: East London

**DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Meeting Weekly and Monthly Performance requirements and sales targets
- Management of sales team consisting of sales reps in a local area to ensure individual targets are met.
- Participating in growing these teams by being part of sales staff recruitment, where needed.
- Setting of monthly targets for each member of the team.
- Training and mentoring of sales staff in the field.
- Assisting field sales staff in identifying and closing large business opportunities.
- Growth of local base through new placements and base maintenance.
- Management of underperforming devices in the market.
- Management of underperforming team members.
- Achieve sales operational objectives by contributing local sales information and recommendations to management for strategic plans.
- Identifying trends, determining local sales system improvements, and implementing changes required by management from time to time.
- Meet sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements and initiating corrective actions where applicable.
- Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
- Review sales performance weekly and plan strategies to ensure that targets are being met.
- Ensure sales reps are looking for opportunity to cross sell and propose accordingly.
- Must manage and support their own base, in addition to managing other Direct Sales resources.

Sales & Sales Management:

- Deploy and support your own devices to a pre-determined base as agreed with your Manager
- Meeting Weekly and Monthly Performance requirements and sales targets as set by your manager
- Lead and manage your own team of Sales Executives operating within an agreed geographical area
- Set, review and manage this team to specific monthly KPI targets to ensure individual targets are met.
- Participating in growing these teams by being part of sales staff recruitment, where needed.
- Training and mentoring of sales staff in the field.
- Assisting field sales staff in identifying and closing large business opportunities.
- Growth of local base through new placements and base maintenance.

Problem Solving:

- Bring a solution focussed approach to your job. Share challenges and look for solutions to these challenges. Where required, work with other departments to refine and implement these solutions to ensure the Project delivery is achieved.
- Identifying trends, determining local sales system improvements, and implementing changes required by management from time to time.
- Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
- Be able to problem solve as you go. Proactively propose solutions to problems and be willing to action these. Guidance from your Field and Regional Manager and other key management and colleagues from time to time is encouraged and advised.

Administration & Reporting:

- Ensure administrative time allocated to fulfil all designated administrative tasks and roles.

Manage device requisitions, allocations and stock takes as per monthly cycle requirements.
- Manage your own and sales team travel and expense claims and reconciliations.
- Comply with Regional admin office requirements as per monthly cycles.
- Ensuring correct procedures are followed by all sales representatives including completion of all expense and internal documentation required by head office.
- Contract, KSIS and other internal process administration.
- Adhere to requirements of the business when placing devices.
- Review of sales staff performance on a weekly basis.
- Planning of sales staff activities on a weekly basis.
- Ensure the sales team is kept informed with regards to the business plans and goals.
- Weekly sales meeting coordination.
- Coordinate sales effort with marketing and sales management.
- Interaction and cooperation with the Sales Admin team and the ability to perform work in acceptable timelines.
- Ensure daily, weekly and monthly reporting to Field or Regional Manager as defined and required.
- Work to key weekly reporting and management cycles with Field and Regional
