An **international leader** in the vehicle manufacturing industry requires the services of a **_Security Manager _**_for the companies _Group Security Department_ for a _**_6-month fixed term contract_**_. _
**_Reporting into: _**_Head of Security APAC & Sub-Saharan Africa._
**Position Overview**:
The **Security Manager** will be responsible for **supporting the implementation of security programs** **_across the international leaders’ sites._**
**Key Performance Areas** **include**:
- **Ensures compliance** with the company’s **_security policies, directives, requirements_**, and **_guidelines_** to ensure consistency across all sites.
- **Supporting the Regional Security **_Director in conducting site security surveys_**_/conduct independently _as per plan and identifying potential risks at sites proactively.
- **Report all security matters** to the **_Regional Security Director, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Head of Security APAC & SSA _**and **works closely on all security matters** with the Regional Security Director.
- **Evaluate and ensure that security systems** and **processes are fit **for **purpose and operational at sites** —_Perimeter Protection, Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, Security Lighting, etc._
**Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required**:
**Minimum Requirements**:
- **_Security _**_qualifications_** and/**_or certifications in security management/loss prevention_** will be required_._
- At least **5 -10 years** d**emonstrated success** in **delivering effective security risk management programs**.
- **Subject Matter Expert in physical security**, people security, crisis management, and investigations.
- Knowledge of Information Security and willingness to travel.
- Proficient in all MS Office.
