Overall Job Objectives
- This role is within the AGI IT stream. The stream is responsible for changes, enhancements and new projects within the AGI SAP S/4 Hana environment and works closely with the AGI Business, external project consultants, external AMS support partner and Aspen Group to deliver a quality service to the AGI business.
- The role is responsible for the specialist SAP integration expertise for internal and external projects, changes and operations and ensuring that solutions are aligned to best practices and meets user requirements. This includes capturing user requirements, investigating best practice solutions, assessing integration risks and impacts within the different modules of SAP as well as the integration risks and impacts of interfaces between SAP and other 3 rd party tools.
- The overall objective of this role is to have a holistic view and understanding of the AGI business requirements of all AGI business units while taking the global Aspen requirements into account as well, translate the requirements into SAP functional requirements, identify potential integration risks and impacts of SAP modules and 3 rd party tools, formulate actions to mitigate the risks and ensure that the mitigation actions are implemented. This role is also responsible for partnering with the internal AGI business departments, Aspen Group, 3 rd party tool suppliers and the AMS support partner to facilitate clear communication between the different parties involved.
- The role must understand the full range of SAP functionality available, the AGI business processes (all business units), the global IT processes, communicate and listen to all parties involved in projects/changes, and keep up to date with current SAP trends in order to identify continuous improvement opportunities within the AGI SAP system.

Duties & Tasks

SAP Knowledge
- Demonstrate extensive functional knowledge of SAP integration and configuration in the areas of Procure to Pay (PtP), Order to Cash (O2C), Plan to Make (P2M), Finance, VIM, Vertex, MDG and have a strong technical understanding of ABAP.
- An understanding of Solution manager is also required.

SAP Changes, Enhancements and Projects
- Analyze business requirements by means of interviews, workflow analyses and facilitated discussions with business users.
- Identify the need for changes and new functionality and align with the business
- Provide expert knowledge to assess the impact of the change/enhancement/project
- Assist the business in documenting the requirements
- Work with the external project consultants, internal SAP resources and AMS partner to design, develop and test solutions
- Create/review solutions designed by the project consultants, internal SAP resources and AMS partner to address the business requirements and confirm the proposed solution with the business.
- Create/review the detailed functional specification design and interface design documents for development, testing and implementation of the solution.
- Work with the business to confirm the deliverables for the change/enhancement/project
- Ensure established processes and procedures are followed for any configuration/development work.
- Ensure that correct and up-to-date documentation and operating procedures are available

Client Satisfaction
- Ensure consistent, timely and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Track client satisfaction and provide input and assistance to other IT projects related to SAP as required.
- Work with Third Parties and Middleware for smooth integration and Mapping.
- Ensures that services and projects are delivered in a quality manner, on time and on budget.
- Escalate issues that affect work request scope, quality, schedule and resources

Requirements ( _Essential Criteria needed for this role _):

- SAP MM/PP/SD/FI (Certification is an added Advantage).
- Experience with Finance, SAP Material Management and SAP Production Planning processes and integration tools.
- Experience on STO, Inventory Management, MRP, Planning Strategies, Master Data, finance month-end procedures.
- Experience in Pharma IT processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing, Material Management or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- In-depth experience (10+ years) with Domain + SAP Functional Experience.
- SAP S/4 Hana Experience - 1610 Onwards.
- ABAP familiarity preferred.
- Knowledge on Change Management Process (ITIL).
- Proficient in SAP MM-SD, MM- FI, MM- PP, Project Management.
- Demonstrated ability to create, manage and complete complex projects using project management processes, tools and methods.
- Must be able to effectively work in teams, multitask effectively between various tasks and projects ensuring that the milestones are met on time.
- Ability to coordinate requests from different business areas, prioritize them based on the business criticality and its impact on the stream
