Wedding Coordinator

Award-winning Boutique Lodge is looking for a WEDDING COORDINATOR

Location: Hout Bay, WC
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar qualifications (advantage)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in event planning
- Sound time management and organisational skills
- Must have impeccable attention to detail
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills
- Must have an exceptional command of the English language as well as communication and active listening skills
- Have the ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic work environment
- Must be well motivated, positive and be an enthusiastic individual who is a great team-player
- Must have good knowledge of stock levels and admin duties
- Must have the need to meet and exceed guest's expectations and will go above and beyond to accommodate them
- Must have good knowledge of food and food preparation standards
- Outstanding staff relation and motivation skills
- Good delegation skills and ability to manage colleagues of a diverse workforce
- Must be fully computer literate and have experience working on POS and reservation systems
- Be able to work long hours and weekends
- Must have a valid driver's licence and own transport

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hout Bay, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
