Our client operating in the manufacturing sector offers an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner. Reporting directly to the Reliability Coordinator, this role is pivotal in ensuring efficient and safe maintenance practices in alignment with technical standards. Your expertise can make a significant impact on operations.

Essential Requirements:

- Matric qualification and a minimum of N5 in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or an equivalent recognised technical qualification.
- Recognised Trade test advantageous.
- 5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in heavy engineering.
- 5 years of experience in shutdown planning and weekly plant maintenance planning.
- Proficiency in SAP PM and MS Project.
- Strong computer literacy.

Key Performance Areas:

- Define comprehensive maintenance methodologies based on priorities, required skills, resources, and supervision.
- Coordinating the procurement of necessary materials, including spare parts.
- Optimise resource utilisation through capacity planning.
- Gather and manage equipment specifications and bill of materials.
- Efficiently manage work order backlog to prevent recurring failures.
- Plan and allocate resources for plant outages effectively.
