_ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES_
A JNR Business Development Executive drives company sales by sourcing new clients and by convincing existing customers to purchase added offerings. You will report directly to an assigned Account Manager who in turn reports to NBDM. The AM will assist and guide you on upskilling and driving your performance.
- Specific duties include but not limited to; _
- Attracting new clients by innovating and overseeing the sales process for the business
- Create business development plans, and with the necessary evaluation and reporting on progress of the said plans.
- Responsible for achieving sales, profitability and customer objectives.
- Represents the entire range of company products and services to potential new clients.
- Strategize and focus on specific solutions or products which will fall within a vertical market.
- Ultimately the JNR New Business Development Executive is accountable for developing, maximizing and maintaining long term relationships with potential and existing customers in order to enhance customer satisfaction, customer retention and company sales. _
**Responsibilities**:
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in new customer accounts.
- Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service and management resources, in order to meet company performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
- Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in new customer accounts.
- Proactively leads a joint customer planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets and critical milestones associated with a productive customer relationship.
- Proactively assesses, clarifies and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
- Sells through customer organizations to end users in coordination with customer sales resources.
- Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
- Leads solution development efforts that best address reseller and/or value added reseller needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and customer personnel.
- Ensure customer compliance with customer agreements.
- Drives adoption of company programs among assigned customers.
**Requirements**:
- Proven work experience as a Business Development position or similar role of a FMCG/T&L and Manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Engaging with customers at a Senior or C level.
- Industry systems and software knowledge or skillset.
- Understanding of CRM/Sales Systems.
- Ability to Manage Time and Workload Effectively.
- Familiarity with industry hardware, consumables, software and embracing any industry changes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Leadership ability.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Degree/Diploma in business development or related field would be beneficial.
- The ability to adapt and drive change within the parameters of ever-changing business phenomena.
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills.
