We are recruiting for a Reconciliation Specialist.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Reconciliation of data over the whole internal company.
- Disbursement value chain, from Applications received to payment to students.
- Analyse the approved payment instructions to determine whether only valid claims are being paid.
- Analyse data to identify potential gaps or blockages in the system.
- Reconciliation of external data directly with institutions between remittance and institution payments.
- Perform financial reconciliations specifically related to company reporting, i.e institution and accommodation payments.

**Minimum Technical Skills and Qualifications**:

- NQF level 7 in Commerce
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in financial systems in the education or finance sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Preferable proficiency in SQL.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
