Bim Specialist

**Job Title: BIM Specialist**

**Job Summary**:
As a BIM Specialist at Inhouse you will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing Building Information Models for various projects. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure that BIM processes are seamlessly integrated into project workflows, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and overall project outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **BIM Model Development**: Develop and manage detailed BIM models, including architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) components, ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards.
- **Coordination & Collaboration**: Work with interdisciplinary teams to integrate various model components, resolving conflicts and ensuring cohesive project delivery.
- **Quality Control**: Perform regular quality checks on BIM models to maintain accuracy, integrity, and adherence to project specifications.
- **Technical Support**: Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM tools and processes, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- **Documentation & Reporting**: Prepare and maintain documentation related to BIM processes, including model updates, changes, and project status reports.
- **Software Management**: Utilize BIM software such as Revit and other relevant tools to develop and manage models, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM-related roles, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in model development and coordination.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in BIM software, including Revit and other relevant tools. Knowledge of BIM standards and protocols is essential.
- **Understanding**: Comprehensive knowledge of architectural, structural, and MEP systems, as well as construction processes and project lifecycle.
- **Skills**: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present information and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
