**Job Title: Delivery Driver**
**Location**: Brackenfell, Western Cape

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities:Parcel Handling & Scanning**:

- Perform **cage scans**, ensuring all parcels are accounted for before loading.
- Conduct **pickup scans** to confirm collected parcels from designated locations.
- Execute **delivery scans** upon successful parcel delivery to customers.

**Delivery & Customer Service**:

- Plan and execute **efficient delivery routes within Brackenfell and surrounding areas**, including Kraaifontein, Bellville, Durbanville, and Kuils River.
- Ensure **timely and accurate deliveries** while adhering to assigned schedules.
- Contact customers before delivery to confirm availability and provide estimated arrival times.
- Maintain **high standards of customer service**, ensuring friendly and professional interactions.
- Address customer inquiries and handle any delivery-related concerns efficiently.

**Driving & Vehicle Management**:

- Operate the delivery vehicle responsibly and in compliance with **traffic regulations**.
- Conduct **daily vehicle inspections**, ensuring oil, tire pressure, and overall vehicle condition are maintained.
- Ensure the company vehicle remains clean and well-maintained.
- Refuel using the company's **fuel card** and submit all relevant slips for record-keeping.

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- Ensure parcels are **handled with care** to avoid damages.
- Accurately document all **deliveries, pickups, and failed delivery attempts**.
- Report any **vehicle issues, route delays, or operational concerns** to the supervisor.
- Follow company policies and safety procedures at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Valid **Code 8/10 driver’s license** with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in a **delivery or courier role** preferred.
- Good knowledge of **Brackenfell and nearby areas** (Kraaifontein, Bellville, Durbanville, Kuils River).
- Excellent **communication and customer service skills**.
- Strong **time management** and problem-solving abilities.
- Physically fit and able to **load/unload parcels** if required.
