The Faircape Group owns and manages six luxury lifestyle/retirement villages throughout the Western Cape.

We are looking for an energetic and competent **Site Foreman** to coordinate operations and oversee contractors for our Construction Company within Cape Town.

Job purpose: Supervise and manage the on site building operations within the Village including house renovations and upgrades within the healthcare.

**Duties include but are not limited to the following**:

- Manage site staff, general workers, artisans and subcontractors.
- Ensure that the highest level of quality is maintained at all times
- Ensure that contractors carry out their work as per the specifications and plans issued
- Ensure that health and safety requirements are enforced and maintained
- Ensure that material orders are submitted timeously
- Ensure that the building program is followed and any deviations are reported to the Site Manager as well managed
- Ensure that subcontractors are coordinated and programmed in order to meet the program
- Manage the site in an orderly and efficient way
- Ensure that attention to detail is always maintained

**Qualifications**:

- Matric

**Experience and Knowledge**:

- Proven experience in a relevant role in the construction industry and in residential developments
- On-site experience
- Ability to understand plans and programs
- Ability to start site set up and setting out of projects

**Skills and Attributes**
- Computer literate
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Good organisational skills
- Self-motivated
- Disciplined

**Specific Requirements**
- Clear health record
- Clear criminal record
- Clear credit record
- Contactable references
- Vaccinated against covid-19 or prepared to be vaccinated prior to commencing work

Normal working hours are Mondays to Fridays from 08h00 until 17h00 with a 45 minute lunch break.

Salary on offer from R 25 000.00 Cost to Company per month.
