Relevant experience required:

- Experience in a senior management role within a luxury safari operation for more than 3 years.
- Any relevant hospitality qualifications will be advantageous
- Highly computer literate
- Excellent English in verbal and written format
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Additional language proficiency advantageous
- Experience in HR management and stock control management
- Ability to contribute to and analyse financial information

The main responsibility areas can be categorized as follows:

- Ensuring operational efficiencies throughout The Lodges.
- Drive and sustain superior levels of guest service and guest satisfaction.
- Play a strong role in contributing to the direction and culture of the organization.
- Training, mentoring, and monitoring of middle management, especially (but not only) lodge and villa managers.
- Play a key role in interacting with guests regularly and ensure that all aspects of a guests’ stay are being catered to, and that pertinent information is transferred to the relevant department heads timeously.
- Contribute to the creation, implementation and monitoring of budgets throughout the Lodges hospitality product.
- Communicate courageously, frequently and respectfully with all members of the team.

Salary R 25 000 - R 30 000 depending on experience and time in the industry, including accommodation.

50% medical and Provident fund contribution and food allowance to compensate for meals on duty.

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- 5* Game Lodge Management: 5 years (preferred)
- Senior Lodge Management: 5 years (preferred)
- Hospitality Management in 5* Boutique Hotel / Lodge: 4 years (preferred)
