**The IIE Varsity College, Newlands Campus, has a vacancy for a **Part-time Lecturer (Independent Contractor)**
- ** Criminology**

**Minimum Education Requirements**:

- Ideal:

- Master (NQF level 9) qualification in Criminology and/ or Criminal
- Post-graduate Diploma, Masters (MA/ MPhil) or Doctorate (PhD/ DPhil) in Sociology.

Alternatively:

- A Bachelor of Arts Honours or Bachelor of Social Science Honours in Sociology with specialization in Political Studies
- Minimum Requirement: An Honors or Postgraduate Diploma (NQF level 8 qualification) in Criminology.

**Minimum Experience Required**:

- Preferably two years of lecturing experience in the discipline of Sociology. Psychology and or Criminology. Work experience ideally in one or other field related to politics, forensic criminology, research, criminologist, forensic analyst, victim empowerment, correctional services, or a qualification in child or youth care and related fields.

**Working Conditions**:
