Maintenance Handyman

Able perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across different areas like plumbing, carpentry, painting, basic electrical work, and general building upkeep, responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner and ensuring all projects are completed to a high standard, often requiring experience in multiple trades and the ability to handle both small repairs and minor renovations across the factory.

**Position Overview**:
**Specific Role Responsibilities**:
Ensure maintenance activities, including equipment repairs, building maintenance, and grounds keeping are fulfilled
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and address them before they become a problem
Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and maintain records of inspections and maintenance activities
Use hand tools and power tools in making minor maintenance repairs and maintaining building structures and offices.
Makes minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs.
Performing preventative maintenance.
Welding as needed from time to time

**Qualifications and Experience**:
A technical qualification in maintenance or a related field is preferred
Basic knowledge of building / tiling
Valid code 8 licence (without endorsements) is compulsory
