Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is looking to appoint a dynamic **Environmental Scientist/ Consultant** to join the Environment and Sustainability Team in expanding its expertise in Johannesburg, the Africa, Europe and MIddle East Region.

- Effectively managing the environmental related projects,
- Collaborating with specialists, liaising with Clients and authorities,
- Mentoring and learning from colleagues,

**You bring to the role;**
- BSc Honours or Masters in Environmental or Natural Sciences qualification at a reputable academic university.
- More than 5 years’ experience in terms of the relevant South African environmental legislation.
- Experience in IFC Performance Standards and Equator Principles.
- Experience in the renewable energy industry.
- Experience in EIAs, WULAs, AELs, WMLs, etc.
- Experience in Environmental Due Diligence projects.
- Experience and understanding of Environmental, Social Governance principles.
- Proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Valid drivers’ licence and passport.
- Willingness to travel.
- Must align to the Company’s values.
