Operations Technician

**Description**:
**Minimum Requirements and Skills**:

- Education: S3 or N6 in Electrical Engineering Light Current or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience.
- Computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
- Knowledge of Linux OS environment.
- Ethernet, RS232, I2C, CAN, SPI and USB
- Microcontrollers and CPLD’s.
- Linear and Switch Mode Power Supplies
- Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret schematic diagrams.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Great communication skills.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Valid Driver's License.

**Responsibilities**:

- Troubleshoot and repair of faulty equipment.
- Prepare detailed reports on repaired activities and outcomes.
- Ensure that repairs are completed within specified turnaround times according to our repair policy.
- Manage stock control within the repair workshop and ordering of spare parts.
- Assist with the manufacturing of Speed Enforcement Cameras and related equipment.
- Direct communication with clients.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)
