ikeja Wireless is looking for a Field Team Technician** (**Team Lead) technicians to join our team, as we embark on the expansion of our network throughout South Africa.

In taking on this role, you will be joining a talented and passionate team that is intrinsically motivated by the fact that we are a fast-growing internet startup that finds itself in the telecommunications space.

**The role**

We are seeking technicians who are looking to gain experience in the telecommunications space, more specifically through being involved in serving our customers by carrying out the maintenance of our wireless internet services

The Field Team Technician (Team Lead) role demands that you be proactive, resourceful, hands-on, highly responsible, and able to take initiative.

**Responsibilities of the role (not limited to but including)**:
**Installations & Maintenance**
- Relocation of wireless services
- Remounting poles
- Reprogramming and replacing hardware
- Uninstalls and loco work
- Fault finding and troubleshooting

**Team Leader Responsibilities (to list a few)**:

- Uphold the ikeja name and integrity of the business by interacting with clients in a friendly and respectful manner.
- Organize and oversee your team
- Oversee your team’s jobs
- Responsible and accountable for your team’s tools
- Liaise with the Team Manager as a touchpoint for the team
- Liaise with Customers
- Liaise with Customer Support regarding scheduling
- Provide customers with invoices from relevant office department if so required

**Requirements**:

- Background in cabling installations (Wireless, CCTV, DSTV etc)
- Ability to use a variety of tools including drills, ratchets, hammers, allen keys, crimping tools
- Experience leading a team

**Bonus points**:

- You have a valid Drivers License
- You live in one of the communities that ikeja serves
- Experience leading a small team
