**Job Opportunity: Custom Assembly Technician (Specialising in Slide-Out Boxes)**:

**Role Description**

ELXV is a luxury off-road caravan manufacturer. We are looking for a hardworking, ambitious and positive team player to join us. This is a full-time on-site role for a **Custom Assembly Technician** in the **South of Johannesburg**. The Technician will be responsible for installing and fitting the slide-out component to our caravan
models. The role includes mechanical work, electrical installations, and
bodywork.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assemble and install slide-out boxes (bed sections) in luxury offroad caravans, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Work with both manual and electronic slide-out systems, including testing for functionality and durability.
- Interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
- Collaborate with the design and manufacturing teams to optimize installation processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any assembly or operational issues.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Proven experience in assembly or fabrication, with a focus on mechanical or electro-mechanical systems.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to read and understand technical blueprints and schematics.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience in custom caravan or vehicle assembly is a plus.
