About us, purpose, experience and qualifications **about us**: - make a promise - be deeply invested - value our differences - build trust, not territory - have courage - always do the right thing **purpose**: - To continuously review communications within the broader FNB group to ensure continued awareness of Exchange Controls.**experience and qualifications**: - 3 year industry related Degree. - 3-4 years related**additional requirements**: **responsibilities**: - Ensure all open exchange account payments are made to prevent any exchange losses to the bank - Establish, align and manage target and budget goals whilst ensuring effective control of costs for a range of functional areas to increase cost efficiency. - Develop a service culture which builds rewarding relationships, proposes innovations and allows others to provide exceptional client service. - Provide exchange control advice to customers and non-customers who have complex cross-border Exchange Control problems ranging from the private individual to the "mega corporate" - Provide exchange control advice to both the clients and branches regarding Exchange Control matters and communicate and explain transactions clearly and coherently to both internal and external customers - Proactive supervision of people to avoid customer breakdown by managing and resolving all customer queries efficiently, and within agreed timelines for all exchange control enquiries - Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements and interpret changes to Exchange Control regulations and rulings and ensure implementation of it within the International Banking Centre - Develop and implement business cases for process enhancements and new processes and products within a Exchange Control Business Unit by identifying areas in the IBC's that needs corrective action in terms of exchange control, finding a solution and implementing such solutions in coordination with the IBC heads and Identify areas of cross border transactions / international banking where his/her input can assist business in operating more effectively. - Attend meetings at customer premise to assist and Endeavour to resolve Exchange Control matters - Attend Exchange Control meetings with customers at SARB offices - Improve business decisions by providing accurate and reliable business intelligence (information) together with analyzing trends and data - Contribute to the development and execution of the business unit strategy through the development and implementation of the People Strategy and operational objectives. - Plan and manage performance, skills development, employment equity, talent and culture of Team Leaders and teams in order to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies and increase competencies - Manage personal and management development to increase own skills and competencies for the managerial function and future Leadership growth opportunities.
