**The Purpose of the Role**:
The Demand Planner will conduct data analysis and provide the organisation with meaningful information to guide improvements in cost and performance of the end-to-end Africa supply chain.

**Responsibilties**:

- Create processes and methods to gather and maintain supply chain data
- Analyse data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements
- Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects
- Develop requirements and standards
- Develop, maintain and improve inventory models
- Oversee inventory management procedures
- Develop and distribute demand plans for buyers and the factory
- Collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective systems
- Track KPIs and report on supply chain’s performance

**Qualifications**:

- Required: B.Sc, B.Eng (Industrial Engineering) or Bcom Supply Chain
- Preferred: B.Sc or B.Eng Hons (Industrial Engineering) with B.SC or B.Eng undergrad

**Experience**:

- Required: Complex supply chain data modelling, academic projects included
- Preferred: 2-5-year experience in supply chain analysis
