**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare work sites by clearing debris, leveling surfaces, and compacting the ground to ensure proper base preparation.
- Lay paving materials such as bricks, concrete, asphalt, or stone in precise patterns and alignments.
- Measure and cut paving materials to fit specific areas as needed.
- Install edging and borders to ensure a clean and professional finish.
- Mix, spread, and level materials like cement, sand, or gravel to form a sturdy base.
- Operate paving equipment such as compactors, rollers, and saws safely and effectively.
- Repair and maintain existing paved surfaces by filling cracks, replacing damaged sections, or resurfacing.
- Ensure all work complies with project specifications, safety regulations, and local building codes.
- Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in paving or a related field
- Knowledge of different paving materials and techniques.
- Proficiency in using paving tools and equipment, including compactors, saws, and rollers.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints, and measurements accurately.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience in decorative paving or custom designs.
- Knowledge of drainage systems and proper water management techniques.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work is primarily outdoors, often in varying weather conditions.
- May involve lifting heavy materials, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required to meet deadlines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: R3 000,00 - R5 000,00 per month

Expected hours: 4 - 7 per week
