When receiving a requisition to recruit, ensure that it is duly completed and signed off. Ensure that an updated job description is available and the job has been graded.
- Send out internal and external advert on relevant job portals to ensure that the position gets sufficient exposure.
- Train and advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methods.
- Ensure that competency-based interviews are done and that each panel member scores the applicants as per the guidelines. Draw up a summary sheet of each applicant with the score per panel member.
- Ensure regular communication with all applicants to facilitate a positive applicant experience (also via the applicant tracking recruitment system). Promote the company as an Employer of choice.
- Ensure that relevant checks are done for all applicants (criminal, credit, qualification, medical, references etc).
- File all recruitment documentation accurately and timeously according to procedure
- Grade 12, preferably coupled with an HR qualification
- At least 5 years' experience in in-house recruitment across different disciplines and levels.
- Experience with ATR systems and direct sourcing methods (Linkedin, Social Media, etc)

Please note, this is a fixed term contract position.
